In a week of big reveals and great news, I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that my short Six Minutes has been selected to join the UK Crime Book Club Anthology.
Six Minutes is a visceral crime short, that studies the impact of street violence. It was an idea I’d been toying with working on for quite a while and when the call for submissions came up, I felt this was a perfect opportunity to put the story out there.
The full list of stories for the anthology looks like this:
A Real Paige Turner, by Robert Crouch
Brooks, by Brian Caves
The Case of the Devil’s Dare, by T.G. Campbell
The Coastal Path, by Cecilia Peartree
The Copse, by Jonathan Mayhew
Dark Fires, by Kath Middleton
Dead in the Ground, by Paula Williams
Death’s Embrace, by Jack Probyn
Dishface, by M.W. Craven
Down to the Sea, by Jan Edwards
El Caballo Rojo, by Wilf Morgan
Eye Contact, by Andy Barrett
Heart of the Green, by Will Templeton
Lucky Break, by Bill Todd
Maud, by Harvey John
Mission Accomplished, by Tony Forder
Robbed, by Susan Handley
Six Minutes, by Ben Bruce
Six Pieces Each, by Sam Thomas
Special Delivery, by Lexie Conyngham
Trust No One, by Michael Kerr
What is Murder? by Barbara Norrey
As you can see, there are some real heavyweights of the British Crime genre contributing to this project, so to be in a publication alongside them is a huge honour.
This anthology has been put together in support of Red Kite Special Academy based in Corby, which is an organisation I’m delighted to support.
